In the 19th Century European Paintings Including German, Austrian and Central European Paintings, The Orientalist Sale, Spanish Painting and the Scandinavian Sale auction, the work French l'Abandon sold for GBP 157,250.00 (€ 191,230.64) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 80,000.00. This high result makes French l'Abandon the most expensive artwork by Guillaume Seignac that we have observed at auctions so far.
