Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

The work French admiring Beauty by Guillaume Seignac was sold in the European Art auction at Sothebys in New York in May 2017. Here, the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 68,750.00 (€ 61,187.26). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Guillaume Seignac - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work French l'Abandon, which sold at auction in June 2010 for GBP 157,250.00 (€ 191,230.64).

Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen

Die Arbeit French admiring Beauty von Guillaume Seignac wurde im Mai 2017 in der Auktion European Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 68.750,00 (€ 61.187,26) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Guillaume Seignac mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit French l'Abandon beobachtet, die im Juni 2010 für GBP 157.250,00 (€ 191.230,64) versteigert wurde.
