Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2015 Christies in London held the auction Old Master Prints, which included the work The Holy Family With A Scriptural Scene In The Background by Guido Reni. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,752.83) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guido Reni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work David With The Head Of Goliath in July 2012 with an auction result of GBP 3,177,250.00 (€ 4,046,962.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master Prints durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Holy Family With A Scriptural Scene In The Background von Guido Reni zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.752,83) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guido Reni erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit David With The Head Of Goliath im Juli 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.177.250,00 (€ 4.046.962,53).
