Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Bust Of Christ (Salvator Mundi) by Guido Reni was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in January 2015. Here, the upper estimate of USD 300,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 317,000.00 (€ 280,779.45). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guido Reni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work David With The Head Of Goliath in July 2012 with an auction result of GBP 3,177,250.00 (€ 4,046,962.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bust Of Christ (Salvator Mundi) von Guido Reni kam im Januar 2015 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 300.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 317.000,00 (€ 280.779,45) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guido Reni erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit David With The Head Of Goliath im Juli 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.177.250,00 (€ 4.046.962,53).
