Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2016 Sothebys in New York held the auction Master Drawings, which included the work A Female Nude by Guido Reni. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,539.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guido Reni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work David With The Head Of Goliath in July 2012 with an auction result of GBP 3,177,250.00 (€ 4,046,962.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2016 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Master Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Female Nude von Guido Reni zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 11.539,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guido Reni erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit David With The Head Of Goliath im Juli 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.177.250,00 (€ 4.046.962,53).
