Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2010 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Master & 19th Century European Art, which included the work What Happens Next? by Guglielmo Zocchi. The price achieved of USD 18,750.00 (€ 13,518.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Guglielmo Zocchi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Centre Of Attention, which sold at auction in September 2013 for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 32,872.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2010 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit What Happens Next? von Guglielmo Zocchi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 13.518,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Guglielmo Zocchi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Centre Of Attention beobachtet, die im September 2013 für GBP 27.500,00 (€ 32.872,00) versteigert wurde.
