In January 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Master and 19th Century European Art, which included the work Her Favorite Author by Guglielmo Zocchi. The »bidding war« ended at USD 18,750.00 (€ 12,633.92), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Guglielmo Zocchi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Centre Of Attention, which sold at auction in September 2013 for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 32,872.00).

Im Januar 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Old Master and 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Her Favorite Author von Guglielmo Zocchi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 12.633,92) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Guglielmo Zocchi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Centre Of Attention beobachtet, die im September 2013 für GBP 27.500,00 (€ 32.872,00) versteigert wurde.
