Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Heart Of China by Gu Gan was sold in the Contemporary Chinese Art III - The Estella Collection auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2008. It achieved a price of HKD 295,500.00 (€ 24,352.94), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 23%. Other works by Gu Gan have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 28,089.31) in April 2007 for the work Concern With No Obstruction.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Heart Of China von Gu Gan wurde im April 2008 in der Auktion Contemporary Chinese Art III - The Estella Collection bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 295.500,00 (€ 24.352,94) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 23%. Andere Arbeiten von Gu Gan haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 28.089,31) im April 2007 für die Arbeit Concern With No Obstruction beobachtet.
