A top price for Gu Gan - as previously expected
In April 2007 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Chinese Art I, which included the work Concern With No Obstruction by Gu Gan. The price achieved of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 28,089.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Concern With No Obstruction is the most expensive artwork by Gu Gan that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im April 2007 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Chinese Art I durch, in der auch die Arbeit Concern With No Obstruction von Gu Gan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 28.089,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 250.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Concern With No Obstruction das teuerste Kunstwerk von Gu Gan, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
