Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work "Randig kruka och citroner" (Striped Pot and Lemons) by Greta Gerell for SEK 9,500.00 (€ 1,067.13). This price was achieved in the auction Spring Modern Auction, Stockholm at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 12,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Greta Gerell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Restaurant scene, Paris in October 2018 with an auction result of SEK 210,000.00 (€ 20,255.03).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "Randig kruka och citroner" (Striped Pot and Lemons) von Greta Gerell für SEK 9.500,00 (€ 1.067,13) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Spring Modern Auction, Stockholm bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 12.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Greta Gerell erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Restaurant scene, Paris im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 210.000,00 (€ 20.255,03).
