Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "Från Café Flore. Paris" (From Café Flore. Paris) by Greta Gerell was sold in the Spring Modern Auction, Stockholm auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in April 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 6,500.00 (€ 730.14) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Greta Gerell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Restaurant scene, Paris in October 2018 with an auction result of SEK 210,000.00 (€ 20,255.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit "Från Café Flore. Paris" (From Café Flore. Paris) von Greta Gerell wurde im April 2012 in der Auktion Spring Modern Auction, Stockholm bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 6.500,00 (€ 730,14) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Greta Gerell erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Restaurant scene, Paris im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 210.000,00 (€ 20.255,03).
