It achieved a price of USD 44,100.00 (€ 41,222.66), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 47%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gregory Crewdson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Dream House Portfolio, which sold at auction in November 2007 for USD 169,000.00 (€ 115,059.91).
