Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Map of Nowhere by Grayson Perry was sold in the Evening & Day Editions auction at Phillips in London in June last year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 20,160.00 (€ 23,420.19). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Grayson Perry achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work I Want To Be An Artist in October 2017 with an auction result of GBP 632,750.00 (€ 721,458.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Map of Nowhere von Grayson Perry wurde im Juni letzten Jahres in der Auktion Evening & Day Editions bei Phillips in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 20.160,00 (€ 23.420,19) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Grayson Perry erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit I Want To Be An Artist im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 632.750,00 (€ 721.458,86).
