Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Orgelspieler. by Gottfried Brockmann was auctioned at Grisebach in March last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 2,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gottfried Brockmann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work „Die Geste“., which sold at auction in June 2021 for EUR 7,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Orgelspieler. von Gottfried Brockmann kam im März letzten Jahres bei Grisebach zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 2.250,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Gottfried Brockmann mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit „Die Geste“. beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für EUR 7.500,00 versteigert wurde.
