This artwork by Gottfrid Kallstenius achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in June last year. In the Important Spring Sale auction, the work Woman with hat sold for SEK 60,000.00 (€ 5,542.08) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gottfrid Kallstenius - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Young couple in love, garden scene from Grez, France, which sold at auction in June 2019 for SEK 130,000.00 (€ 12,377.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gottfrid Kallstenius erzielte im Juni letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Important Spring Sale wurde die Arbeit Woman with hat für SEK 60.000,00 (€ 5.542,08) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Gottfrid Kallstenius mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Young couple in love, garden scene from Grez, France beobachtet, die im Juni 2019 für SEK 130.000,00 (€ 12.377,67) versteigert wurde.
