The work "Aftonstjärnan" (Evening Star) by Gottfrid Kallstenius was sold in the Important Winter Sale auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in December 2020. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 55,000.00 (€ 5,477.51), 38% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gottfrid Kallstenius - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Young couple in love, garden scene from Grez, France, which sold at auction in June 2019 for SEK 130,000.00 (€ 12,377.67).

Die Arbeit "Aftonstjärnan" (Evening Star) von Gottfrid Kallstenius wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion Important Winter Sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 55.000,00 (€ 5.477,51) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Gottfrid Kallstenius mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Young couple in love, garden scene from Grez, France beobachtet, die im Juni 2019 für SEK 130.000,00 (€ 12.377,67) versteigert wurde.
