Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Engadiner Berglandschaft im Frühherbst, 1967 by Gottardo Segantini was auctioned at Sothebys in Zurich in June last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CHF 60,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of CHF 63,000.00 (€ 63,012.04) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Gottardo Segantini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Blick Ins Oberengadin, 1947 View Into Upper Engadin, 1947 in November 2008 with an auction result of CHF 422,500.00 (€ 273,589.88).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Engadiner Berglandschaft im Frühherbst, 1967 von Gottardo Segantini kam im Juni letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Zürich zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CHF 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CHF 63.000,00 (€ 63.012,04) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gottardo Segantini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Blick Ins Oberengadin, 1947 View Into Upper Engadin, 1947 im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 422.500,00 (€ 273.589,88).
