A top price for Gottardo Segantini - as previously expected
The work Blick Ins Oberengadin, 1947 View Into Upper Engadin, 1947 by Gottardo Segantini was auctioned at Sothebys in Zurich in November 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CHF 400,000.00 – 600,000.00, the actual price achieved of CHF 422,500.00 (€ 273,589.88) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Blick Ins Oberengadin, 1947 View Into Upper Engadin, 1947 is the most expensive artwork by Gottardo Segantini that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Blick Ins Oberengadin, 1947 View Into Upper Engadin, 1947 von Gottardo Segantini kam im November 2008 bei Sothebys in Zürich zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CHF 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CHF 422.500,00 (€ 273.589,88) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
