Auction result well in line with expectations
In August last year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction California Art, which included the work Two trees, Mill Valley, Columbia, Sept. and Yellow and green hills (a group of three) by Gottardo Fidele Ponziano Piazzoni. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 4,462.50 (€ 4,433.68) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Gottardo Fidele Ponziano Piazzoni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Marin Hills in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 21,325.00 (€ 18,309.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im August letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion California Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two trees, Mill Valley, Columbia, Sept. and Yellow and green hills (a group of three) von Gottardo Fidele Ponziano Piazzoni zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 4.462,50 (€ 4.433,68) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gottardo Fidele Ponziano Piazzoni auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Marin Hills im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 21.325,00 (€ 18.309,44).
