It achieved a price of USD 8,287.50 (€ 7,342.52), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 66%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gottardo Fidele Ponziano Piazzoni - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Marin Hills, which sold at auction in October 2020 for USD 21,325.00 (€ 18,309.44).

Die Arbeit Moon over Houseboat, Belvedere; Mill Valley (a group of two) von Gottardo Fidele Ponziano Piazzoni wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion California Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 8.287,50 (€ 7.342,52) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 66%. Für andere Arbeiten von Gottardo Fidele Ponziano Piazzoni mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Marin Hills beobachtet, die im Oktober 2020 für USD 21.325,00 (€ 18.309,44) versteigert wurde.
