Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Scattered patches of snow on the peak; Melting snow in the mountains (a group of two) by Gottardo Fidele Ponziano Piazzoni was sold in the California Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in April last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 3,187.50 (€ 3,025.05) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Gottardo Fidele Ponziano Piazzoni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Marin Hills in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 21,325.00 (€ 18,309.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Scattered patches of snow on the peak; Melting snow in the mountains (a group of two) von Gottardo Fidele Ponziano Piazzoni wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion California Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 3.187,50 (€ 3.025,05) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gottardo Fidele Ponziano Piazzoni auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Marin Hills im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 21.325,00 (€ 18.309,44).
