In the Master Paintings Part II auction, the work Portrait of a young girl, believed to be Anne Conslade, wearing a blue dress with a brown mantle and holding an orange sold for USD 35,280.00 (€ 29,072.93) - well above the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Godfried Schalcken achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Parable Of The Lost Piece Of Silver in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 378,400.00 (€ 562,011.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
