Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait Of A Girl, Believed To Be Miss Anne Conslade, Wearing A Blue Dress With A Brown Mantle, Holding An Orange by Godfried Schalcken was sold in the Old Masters Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in December 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 37,997.77) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Godfried Schalcken achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Parable Of The Lost Piece Of Silver in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 378,400.00 (€ 562,011.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait Of A Girl, Believed To Be Miss Anne Conslade, Wearing A Blue Dress With A Brown Mantle, Holding An Orange von Godfried Schalcken wurde im Dezember 2016 in der Auktion Old Masters Day Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert.
