Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2021 Bonhams in Sydney / Melbourne held the auction Important Australian Art, which included the work Suez by Godfrey Miller. The »bidding war« ended at AUD 3,690.00 (€ 3,067.33), 23% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Godfrey Miller achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Australian Still Life With Fruit in April 2008 with an auction result of AUD 55,200.00 (€ 33,397.28).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2021 führte Bonhams in Sydney / Melbourne die Auktion Important Australian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Suez von Godfrey Miller zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von AUD 3.690,00 (€ 3.067,33) und damit 23% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Godfrey Miller erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Australian Still Life With Fruit im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 55.200,00 (€ 33.397,28).
