A top price for Godfrey Miller - as previously expected
The work Australian Still Life With Fruit by Godfrey Miller was auctioned at Sothebys in Sydney in April 2008. The price achieved of AUD 55,200.00 (€ 33,397.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Australian Still Life With Fruit is the most expensive artwork by Godfrey Miller that we have observed at auctions so far.
