In November 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern & Post-War British Art, which included the work Study For The Portrait Of The Honourable Lady Packe by Glyn Warren Philpot. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,574.72), 56% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Glyn Warren Philpot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Head of a Negro in March 2015 with an auction result of GBP 302,500.00 (€ 418,222.23).

Im November 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Modern & Post-War British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Study For The Portrait Of The Honourable Lady Packe von Glyn Warren Philpot zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 10.574,72) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Glyn Warren Philpot erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Head of a Negro im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 302.500,00 (€ 418.222,23).
