Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Glenn Dean achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in February this year. In the Coast to Coast | Live OnlineAmerican Art, including The Collection of Gail Feingarten Oppenheimer auction, the work Shifting Light sold for USD 2,550.00 (€ 2,405.21) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Glenn Dean have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Passing Shadows 40 x 50 in. framed 50 x 60 in. in November last year with an auction result of USD 12,750.00 (€ 12,351.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Glenn Dean erzielte im Februar diesen Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Coast to Coast | Live OnlineAmerican Art, including The Collection of Gail Feingarten Oppenheimer wurde die Arbeit Shifting Light für USD 2.550,00 (€ 2.405,21) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Glenn Dean auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Passing Shadows 40 x 50 in. framed 50 x 60 in. im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 12.750,00 (€ 12.351,06).
