A top price for Glenn Dean - as previously expected
In November last year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction The Collection of G. Andrew Bjurman, which included the work Passing Shadows 40 x 50 in. framed 50 x 60 in. by Glenn Dean. The price achieved of USD 12,750.00 (€ 12,351.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Passing Shadows 40 x 50 in. framed 50 x 60 in. is the most expensive artwork by Glenn Dean that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im November letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion The Collection of G. Andrew Bjurman durch, in der auch die Arbeit Passing Shadows 40 x 50 in. framed 50 x 60 in. von Glenn Dean zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.750,00 (€ 12.351,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Passing Shadows 40 x 50 in. framed 50 x 60 in. das teuerste Kunstwerk von Glenn Dean, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
