The price achieved of EUR 30,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Zocchi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Tiber River, Rome, looking towards the Castel Sant'Angelo, with Saint Peter's Basilica beyond in April 2017 with an auction result of USD 1,207,500.00 (€ 1,108,306.56).
