In December 2010 Christies in London held the auction Old Master & Decorative, Modern & Contemporary Prints, which included the work Prospetto del'Alma Cittá di Roma visto del Monte Gianicolo by Giuseppe Vasi. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,949.96), 72% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Giuseppe Vasi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Prospetto dell'Alma Cittá di Roma visto dal Monte Gianicolo sold at auction in December 2019 with the realized price of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,728.24).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 72 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2010 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master & Decorative, Modern & Contemporary Prints durch, in der auch die Arbeit Prospetto del'Alma Cittá di Roma visto del Monte Gianicolo von Giuseppe Vasi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.949,96) und damit 72% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Giuseppe Vasi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Prospetto dell'Alma Cittá di Roma visto dal Monte Gianicolo im Dezember 2019 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.728,24).
