Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Le Rovine delle antiche magnificenze di Roma che si veggono nel Campo Vaccino by Giuseppe Vasi for GBP 875.00 (€ 1,065.08). This price was achieved in the auction Robert Kime, David Bedale, Piers von Westenholz and Christopher Gibbs - The English Home at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Vasi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Prospetto dell'Alma Cittá di Roma visto dal Monte Gianicolo in December 2019 with an auction result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,728.24).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Le Rovine delle antiche magnificenze di Roma che si veggono nel Campo Vaccino von Giuseppe Vasi für GBP 875,00 (€ 1.065,08) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Robert Kime, David Bedale, Piers von Westenholz and Christopher Gibbs - The English Home bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Vasi erzielen.
