Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Serenade by Giuseppe Signorini was auctioned at Christies in New York in October 2003. The price achieved of USD 11,950.00 (€ 10,293.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Giuseppe Signorini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Prayer in the Mosque in March last year with an auction result of GBP 44,100.00 (€ 52,285.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Serenade von Giuseppe Signorini kam im Oktober 2003 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 11.950,00 (€ 10.293,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giuseppe Signorini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Prayer in the Mosque im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 44.100,00 (€ 52.285,51).
