Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2015 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work A rest at the bazaar by Giuseppe Signorini. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,866.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Giuseppe Signorini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Prayer in the Mosque in March last year with an auction result of GBP 44,100.00 (€ 52,285.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A rest at the bazaar von Giuseppe Signorini zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.866,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giuseppe Signorini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Prayer in the Mosque im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 44.100,00 (€ 52.285,51).
