In May 2016 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work The proposal by Giuseppe Signorini. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,000.00 (€ 5,219.58), 33% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Signorini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Prayer in the Mosque in March last year with an auction result of GBP 44,100.00 (€ 52,285.51).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The proposal von Giuseppe Signorini zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 5.219,58) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Signorini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Prayer in the Mosque im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 44.100,00 (€ 52.285,51).
