This work of art by Giuseppe Signorini could be acquired at Sothebys in Paris in November 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Regards sur l'Orient - Orientalist Paintings and Islamic Art auction, the work Chez Le Cadigiuseppe Signorini ; At The "Cadi" ; Signed And Located Lower Right Paris And Numbered Or Dated 11 298 ; Wtarcolour Slightly Heightened With White Gouache changed hands for EUR 18,750.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giuseppe Signorini - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Prayer in the Mosque, which sold at auction in March last year for GBP 44,100.00 (€ 52,285.51).
