Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Testa Di Orientale by Giuseppe Signorini was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in December 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 5,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Giuseppe Signorini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Prayer in the Mosque in March last year with an auction result of GBP 44,100.00 (€ 52,285.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Testa Di Orientale von Giuseppe Signorini kam im Dezember 2008 bei Sothebys in Mailand zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 5.250,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giuseppe Signorini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Prayer in the Mosque im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 44.100,00 (€ 52.285,51).
