Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Italian The Soloist by Giuseppe Signorini for USD 8,125.00 (€ 5,219.04). This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century European Art including The Orientalist Sale at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Signorini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Prayer in the Mosque in March last year with an auction result of GBP 44,100.00 (€ 52,285.51).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Italian The Soloist von Giuseppe Signorini für USD 8.125,00 (€ 5.219,04) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century European Art including The Orientalist Sale bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Signorini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Prayer in the Mosque im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 44.100,00 (€ 52.285,51).
