Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Playing with the baby by Giuseppe Magni for USD 2,550.00 (€ 2,165.79). This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century European Paintings at Bonhams in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Magni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Happy Family in January 2016 with an auction result of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 29,462.70).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Playing with the baby von Giuseppe Magni für USD 2.550,00 (€ 2.165,79) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings bei Bonhams in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Magni erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Happy Family im Januar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 29.462,70).
