Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Blowing bubbles by Giuseppe Magni was sold in the 19th Century European Art auction at Christies in London in September 2016. It changed hands for a price of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 13,028.90) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giuseppe Magni - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Happy Family, which sold at auction in January 2016 for GBP 22,500.00 (€ 29,462.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Blowing bubbles von Giuseppe Magni wurde im September 2016 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 13.028,90) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Magni mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Happy Family beobachtet, die im Januar 2016 für GBP 22.500,00 (€ 29.462,70) versteigert wurde.
