In October 2006 Christies in New York held the auction Orientalist Art, 19th Century European Art, which included the work Le prime danze by Giuseppe Magni. The price achieved of USD 36,000.00 (€ 28,184.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Other works by Giuseppe Magni have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in January 2016 the work The Happy Family was auctioned for GBP 22,500.00 (€ 29,462.70).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 36.000,00 (€ 28.184,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Magni konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Januar 2016 die Arbeit The Happy Family für GBP 22.500,00 (€ 29.462,70) versteigert.
