Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2007 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art Including Russian Pictures, which included the work Fresh from the vineyard by Giuseppe Magni. The price achieved of GBP 3,840.00 (€ 5,652.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Giuseppe Magni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Happy Family in January 2016 with an auction result of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 29,462.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art Including Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fresh from the vineyard von Giuseppe Magni zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.840,00 (€ 5.652,04) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giuseppe Magni auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Happy Family im Januar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 29.462,70).
