Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Giuseppe Magni could be acquired at Sothebys in London in December 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th Century European Paintings auction, the work Italian The Kiss changed hands for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,850.40) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giuseppe Magni - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Happy Family, which sold at auction in January 2016 for GBP 22,500.00 (€ 29,462.70).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Giuseppe Magni konnte im Dezember 2014 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings wechselte die Arbeit Italian The Kiss für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.850,40) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00.
