Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Giuseppe Gallo was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in New York in January 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,125.00 (€ 861.87) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Gallo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 367,500.00 (€ 347,419.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Giuseppe Gallo wurde im Januar 2012 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 1.125,00 (€ 861,87) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Gallo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 367.500,00 (€ 347.419,17).
