Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fidia by Giuseppe Gallo was auctioned at Christies in Milan in November 2020. The price achieved of EUR 30,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Gallo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 367,500.00 (€ 347,419.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fidia von Giuseppe Gallo kam im November 2020 bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 30.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Gallo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 367.500,00 (€ 347.419,17).
