Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Giuseppe Gallo was auctioned at Christies in New York in April 2015. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,125.00 (€ 1,007.88) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Gallo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 367,500.00 (€ 347,419.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Giuseppe Gallo kam im April 2015 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.125,00 (€ 1.007,88) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Gallo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 367.500,00 (€ 347.419,17).
