Auction result well in line with expectations
The work King David Accompanied By Three Of His Followers by Giuseppe Cesari was auctioned at Christies in New York in January 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 173,000.00 (€ 153,232.95) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Giuseppe Cesari have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An angel in flight in October 2021 with an auction result of USD 834,000.00 (€ 721,952.91).

Die Arbeit King David Accompanied By Three Of His Followers von Giuseppe Cesari kam im Januar 2015 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 173.000,00 (€ 153.232,95) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
