In June 2021 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master & 19th century Art, which included the work Etude De Tête D'Homme Barbu by Giuseppe Cesari. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 5,200.00 30% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Cesari achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An angel in flight in October 2021 with an auction result of USD 834,000.00 (€ 721,952.91).

Im Juni 2021 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master & 19th century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Etude De Tête D'Homme Barbu von Giuseppe Cesari zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 5.200,00 und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Cesari erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit An angel in flight im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 834.000,00 (€ 721.952,91).
