Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Madonna and Child enthroned with Saints Barbara, Dominic, John the Baptist and Anthony Abbot by Giovanni di Marco was auctioned at Christies in New York in October 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 70,000.00 – 100,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 75,000.00 (€ 64,394.26) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Giovanni di Marco have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Seven Virtues in April 2016 with an auction result of USD 557,000.00 (€ 486,845.56).

Die Arbeit The Madonna and Child enthroned with Saints Barbara, Dominic, John the Baptist and Anthony Abbot von Giovanni di Marco kam im Oktober 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 70.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 64.394,26) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
