The work The Seven Virtues by Giovanni di Marco was sold in the Old Masters: Part I auction at Christies in New York in April 2016. Here, the upper estimate of USD 500,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 557,000.00 (€ 486,845.56). With this result, The Seven Virtues is even the most expensive work of art by Giovanni di Marco that we have observed at auctions so far.
