Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Madonna and Child with Saints John the Baptist, Andrew, Anthony Abbot, and Nicholas of Bari; the Annunciation in the predella by Giovanni di Marco was auctioned at Christies in New York in January 2009. The price achieved of USD 122,500.00 (€ 95,673.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Giovanni di Marco have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Seven Virtues in April 2016 with an auction result of USD 557,000.00 (€ 486,845.56).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 122.500,00 (€ 95.673,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden.
